I hope everything comes together as I see it in my head but since I haven't done much planning and definitely no prep except book a food vendor then I imagine it will be quite the stressful upcoming week. Especially since the biggest, most anticipated and most important football game of Arkansas' entire season is that Saturday. Alabama comes to town with (the rumor is ESPN College Game Day) the entire state of football fans. I thought it would be a PERFECT weekend to have Ann's party!! Guilt all of our friends that will be in town to coming to it also... you better be there hangover or pouty face and all. Spread da werd.
Anyway... we are going with a fun, loose, carnival theme. Not all out carnival because that scared me but our rendition of it. I'm mainly going for color, bold stripes and animals. The food is in theme and the clown we booked of course... (kidding, no clown, Uncle Brady you can still come).
Thanks to my most amazing sister that does not have kids and plenty of time on her hands...apparently... there will be some fun touches to the decor that I simply cannot do myself or cannot find the time to do. I should be paying her but Ann's love is enough.
And here we are with the color...
I'll share pictures of the actual party in two weeks but until then you can build up in your head how amazing it's going to be then see how I really pull it off. Hopefully it will all come together and be wonderful!! Also, praying the weather will hold out too since the entire thing is outside. The elephant we booked can't go inside.... again, I kid. Maybe.
