Living Room Curtains

I finally found the time to stencil our living room curtains.  It's wonderful being a stay at home Mom!!  I can get to all of these little projects I've been wanting to do.... it takes awhile because Ann is pretty demanding and hasn't learned what patience means but they are done and I'm happy with them.

I reused the stencil from Ann's closet and it pulls the pattern from our dining room rug into the living room.  I went with a navy blue to tie the dining room curtains and chairs in with the living room.  Next project is to paint the dining room an off white and get rid of the bright yellow.  That will hopefully simplify things downstairs.  I'm getting tired of the eclectic mix of colors and want the house to be a little more sleek.

I decided to only stencil the top third.  I like the end result; having the pattern on the entire panel for four panels in this room would have been too much I think.  

I hope to conquer the dining room paint project next week.
