Anytime someone has this pie I give it about 5 days and I then get a request for the recipe.... as if I made this up on my own.... ha ha, no. I got it from Ree Drummond!! We are close... as in I read her blog daily. If you think about it, blogging is so dang weird. I'm veering off here but every time that TJ Maxx commercial comes on and the girl says "I'm a fashion blogger!" for her occupation, John rolls his eyes, laughs out loud and looks at me with eyes that say "blogging is NOT a profession and doesn't she sound stupid saying that?!" I laugh and say "I know sweetie, I'm not making a dime off blogging I just like sharing our personal home life with the entire world!"
Anyway, I have found a ton of great recipes that his tummy has fully enjoyed via blogs and I don't think he complained about them while eating whatever yumminess he was eating at the time...
Here is your bonus for reading my blog! A link to the pie recipe!! I have it memorized, it's soooo easy and if you need a last minute pie/dessert to take somewhere it's a great one. It's also cheap to make and if you're not a pie maker (not sure why people are so scared of pies) then you can still make this one. Just use double stuff Oreos. It's the secret.... Ree doesn't even share this secret. I figured it out all by my lonesome and I'm so glad I did.
